Savannah Ochoa was granted her angel wings on June 1st 2017. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Savannah had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life. She was born September 17, 2015 in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Savannah's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her big smile could melt the hearts of those around her.
In mourning for Savannah Ochoa, for the ones who knew Savannah, the first thing that comes to mind when you think of her is her smile and how it would light up an entire room. The next thing is her loving and supportive parents Omar N Ochoa and Lineta Kundrotiene, and her godparents Daniela Mayorga and Javier Villalba. When she was born, she was diagnosed with a heart condition that hindered the beginning of her life. Her loving parents and godparents never gave up on her. The long nights at the hospital sitting by her side, playing with her when she was awake and never leaving her side when she was in her surgery. Savannah was a fighter just like her parents. She pulled through her heart problem when the doctors said she wouldn't make it. She beat those odds. After she came home, Savannah lived her life to the fullest. She loved to sit outside with the ones who loved her and cared for her, she loved when you filled her heart with loving attention and loved having her family by her side. In her final moments, she was able to experience nature, a place she was very fond of. She loved her first and last camping trip. She was suddenly taken from us too soon. We ask the ones who loved her to not just mourn her life, but live your life to the fullest the same way Savannah tried to herself. Cherish every moment in life the way Savannah Ochoa had done in her last moments.
Savannah is survived by her loving parents, Omar Ochoa and Lineta Kundrotiene of Carol Stream, Illinois; sister Kamila Kundrotas; Brother Dominik Kundrotas; Godparents Daniela Mayorga and Javier Villalba; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
