Robert Borbor Glaybo, son of Zaunton Glaybo and Martha Ben, was born on June 15, 1938 in Liberia, West Africa. Robert passed away peacefully in his home on October 25, 2017.

Robert was joined in holy matrimony with Edna Glaybo on June 7, 1963. The two have been married for 54 years and have six children, Enoch, Uriah, Amy, Nelson, Lois, and Bobby.

Back in Liberia, Robert was an elementary school teacher and principal for twenty-six years. Robert was also a writer and a Bible translator back home as well as when he relocated to the United States in 2001. Robert worked with an organization assisting refugees in America and changed many lives doing so.

Robert is survived by his wife Edna Glaybo, six children, 22 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until the start of a funeral service to be held at 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church , 515 S. Wheaton Ave, in Wheaton, IL. Further services and interment will be held in Liberia.
