Lois Marie
Morgan
November 24, 1935 – November 17, 2020
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."—Psalm 116:15
Lois Marie Morgan, 84, of Princeton, MN, took her final breath on earth and her first in the presence of her Savior on November 17, 2020, after finishing her battle with Covid-19 and other health issues.
Lois was born in Summit, Illinois, on November 24, 1935, to Everett Hale and Ella Bertha (Darnstaedt) Solomon, the second of three daughters including her older sister Norma (Sidney) Frazen and younger sister Judith Solomon. Lois' most important decision in her life came early, committing her life to follow Jesus as a teenager.
Lois was married to Richard Duane Morgan and together they had three children: Deborah Marie Reece, David Duane (Lori) Morgan, and Jonathan Robert (Joby) Morgan.
In 1962 the family began decades of service to the Lord with South Africa General Mission, which became African Evangelical Fellowship and finally SIM. Together they served in Portugal, South Africa, Swaziland, and Mozambique before returning to the USA in 2000, where their ministry to churches continued in retirement.
Lois' most cherished vocation did not appear on a resume. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved and served her husband, children, and grandchildren wholeheartedly.
Lois is greatly missed by her children, Debbie, Dave, (Lori) and Jon (Joby); her grandchildren, Joshua, Joy, Josi, and Joseph Reece, and Heather, Kyle (Cassie), and Tiffany Morgan, and great-grandchildren, Braylen Bangert, and Ryker, Evelyn, Tytus, and Arya Morgan, along with beloved nieces and nephews. While we grieve her absence here on earth, we do not grieve as others who have no hope. Our hope and our comfort come from knowing Lois is in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, and her brother-in-law Robert Morgan.
