Larry D. Martin, age 73, passed away February 17, 2020. He was born July 24, 1946 in Olympia, Washington to David & Vera Martin.

Larry started his career with CH2M HILL in 1973, and would stay more than 40 years, guiding some of the region's most significant infrastructure projects including the O'Hare Modernization Program and the Elgin O'Hare Western Access Project. However, Larry's impact was most felt in his ability to connect with people, and in his commitment to guiding and mentoring young staff -- who today carry on his tradition of striving for technical excellence, but also leading with kindness and compassion.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Martin (nee Vischulis); his son Ryan (Jennifer) Martin; his grandchildren Benjamin & Macy; and his sister Marianne (Jack Owen) Martin.

A vistiation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Trinity Episcopal Church , 130 N West St., (West & Wesley Streets) Wheaton, IL 60187, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to a reception following the service at the church.
