Khanh Huu Nguyen, age 72, a resident of Wheaton, died Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born July 17, 1949 in Hai Duong, Vietnam. He went to college in Saigon, where he met his wife Bach Linh Nguyen.

After coming to America and starting over, he double majored in accounting and computer science at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.  He also received his master's degree  from North Central College in Naperville.

He has made the Chicago area his home for the last 45 years and enjoyed using the snowblower in winter as much as the lawn mower in the summer. He was proud of his work, colleagues, and long years at Cole & Parmer. In retirement, he loved doing yard work while the local squirrels, bunnies, and birds followed him around waiting for him to give them snacks.

He is survived by his wife, Linh Nguyen and his son Khang Nguyen, as well as his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL.
