Glenda White, age 85, a resident of Winfield, IL, passed away September 2, 2022, in Winfield, Illinois.  She was born in 1937, in Sidonia Tennessee.

She loved being with her family above anything else. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and creating "masterpieces" with her grandchildren. Some highlights include the totem pole, daily hand-drawn lunch bags, teaching them to paint, the skunk patrol, thousands of homemade costumes, canning peaches, and making Christmas crepes with the grandchildren. She also enjoyed researching genealogy, family photos, gardening, and canning the fruits and vegetables from her garden.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Hammond White. Her Daughter Laura (Raymond) Tubridy. Her Grandchildren Sean (Sarah) Tubridy, Carly (Bill) Tubridy, and Elena Tubridy. Her Brother James "Bill" (The late Mary Ann) Ridgeway, and Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Brother Daniel Ridgeway, and her Son Elliott White.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on September 7, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home 304 North Main Street Wheaton IL , With a remembrance service to follow from 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m.
