Donald W. Johnston Jr., age 89, a resident of Glen Ellyn, passed away January 10, 2021, at home.  He was born September 2, 1931 in Chicago to Donald & Florence Johnston

Growing up, Don loved spending time with his cousins, and continued to keep in touch with them throughout his adult life. He worked for GM Electro-Motive in LaGrange, IL, for 50 years, retiring in 1997. Along with reading and collecting model ships, Don loved visiting his family and traveling to North Dakota and Charlevoix, MI. He was a devote Christian and rarely missed a Sunday worship service.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, father, and beloved sister, Doris.

He is survived by his nephews, Dave (Tina) Richard, (Jeanne) and Bill, (Stacy) Johnson and many great-nieces & nephews.
