Barbara Ann Zeman, age 70, a resident of Coldwater, MI, formerly of Wheaton, IL, died suddenly on August 31, 2019.  She was born on July 5, 1949, in Winfield, IL to Walter and Dorothy Sanders. Her father was a home builder who built many homes in the Arrowhead Subdivision of Wheaton.

Barbara grew up in Lombard and Wheaton and she graduated from St. Francis High School in 1967.  She earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Purdue University and was an accomplished artist.  She married Glen Zeman on July 17, 1971.  They lived for many years in Johnson City, TN where they raised two boys and where she was involved with the PTA.  In 2005, they moved to Coldwater, MI, where she has enjoyed gardening. Most of all she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Zeman, two sons, Brian Zeman and Kevin (Lindsey) Zeman, four grandchildren, Tyler, Colin, Abbrielle and Benjamin, five sisters, Cathie (James) Tonkin, Paula (Gary) Pestka, Laura (Dean) Bladel, Deborah (Ken) Bray and Carol (Joe) Szczepaniak and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL. A mass will be held on Friday, September 6,  at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, West and Illinois St., Wheaton. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
