Our precious mother, Barbara Coulomb, age 92, a resident of Bloomingdale, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Symphony of Hanover Park.  She was born October 18, 1929, in Chicago to Herbert and Marcia Emery.

Barbara grew up in the city of Chicago and attended Little Company of Mary nursing school in Evergreen Park. After graduating she enjoyed being a nurse at little Company of Mary Hospital until she married Donald Coulomb.

Barbara and Donald raised a family of seven children. Barbara devoted her life to her children and was a wonderful and loving mother that enjoyed cooking wonderful meals, baking cakes, pies, and cookies, gardening, reading and puzzles.

Barbara was predeceased by both her parents, her husband Donald, and her son Chris. Barbara is survived by her children Alex, Glen, Jeanne, Connie, Carol, and Jim, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1415 W. Lies Rd, Carol Stream, IL 60188 on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
