Anne Margarete Podzamsky, (nee Jean ) age 91, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was born in Oak Park, Illinois to Joseph & Anna Jean.

She grew up in Forest Park and spent the majority of her life raising 6 children in Chicago and helping with grandchildren as well. She worked for the Chicago Board of Education and Oak Park Hospital. During her limited free time, she used her creative talents and to become an artist.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Betty) Bandemer, Diane Morgan, Mary Swanson, the late Fred Bandemer, & Jeanne (Bob) McDonald, and the late Robert (Sandy) Bandemer; her grandchildren Jessica, Fred, Dominic, Kelly, Mandy, Timothy, Casey, Edward, Robert, Bobby, and Michael; her great-grandchildren Madeline, Samson, Lucy Diane, Lily, Nicholas, Charlotte, Heidi, Gabriel, Ella, and Colette (Coco) and her brother Joseph Jean.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Podzamsky, Jr. and her sons Robert and Fred Bandemer.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of prayers at 11:30 a.m. A funeral mass will follow at St. Michael Catholic Church beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
