Deborah Elaine Patrick, age 58, a longtime resident of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn, died Monday, December 14, 2015, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. She was born July 30, 1957 in Columbus, Indiana to Kenneth and Nancy Patrick.
Deborah was a 1974 graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School. She attended Baylor University and SMU and graduated from Elmhurst College. She was a commercial real estate banker who worked for many years for Harris Bank as a Vice-President at the Naperville branch. In 2005 she retired due to the symptoms of M.S. In retirement she moved for a few years to Carthage, TN where she was a member of the First Methodist Church of Carthage.
While living in Glen Ellyn, Deborah served as President of the Glen Ellyn Jaycees. She enjoyed Longaburger baskets and loved her two cats.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Crenetz of Wheaton, her mother, Nancy (Robert) Scharsich of Brevard, NC, her sister, Melanie (Ned Ward) Patrick of Chicago and two step-brothers, Paul and William Sharsich. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth E. Patrick.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL. Private interment will take place at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago.
