Tammy Fitzpatrick, 57, of Wheaton, Illinois, died peacefully March 23, 2015, at home surrounded by family.

She was born January 10, 1958, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Roberta (Weyrauch) Meyer.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ron; children Sarah of Birmingham, AL, Thomas (Kelli) of Charleston, SC and Michael of Wheaton and Birmingham, AL. Her parents, Glenn and Roberta Meyer of Iowa Falls, IA, her siblings, Deb (Harold) Muller of Iowa Falls, Dan Meyer of Bakersfield, CA, Angie (Jerry) Risius of Ackley, IA and Tony Meyer of Michigan City, IN.

She graduated from Ackley Geneva High School in 1976 and worked locally as the manager of a retail store. In 1980, she moved to Texas with Salkin & Linoff as a district manager, opening up several new stores. In 1983 she began a 20 year career with Merrill Lynch in Texas and Illinois. She finished her career with Thrivent Financial in Downers Grove, IL. Tammy was active as a youth group leader and a basketball coach at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton. She was also active in her bible study group as her relationship with God was of the utmost importance in her life and that of her family. Her greatest joys in life were her faith, her family, working with people of all ages whether coaching, volunteering or professionally. She was a good and faithful servant, she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois. The memorial service will be held on Friday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 101 South 6th Avenue, St. Charles, IL 60174.
