Isaac McCaig Wright, age 11, a resident of Wheaton, died at home on Monday, December 1, 2008. He was born on March 28, 1997 in Winfield to Mark and Deborah Wright.

Isaac was a sixth grade student at Wheaton Montessori School. He was passionate about learning, inspiring others to follow his lead. He was a beloved part of the Glen Ellyn Evangelical Covenant Church where he grew into faith. He was a compassionate friend and a loving family member.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Deborah, one older brother, Nathaniel, his maternal grandparents, Albert and Edith Fink of Hanover, PA, paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Laura Wright of Rockford, IL, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Ellyn Evangelical Covenant Church, 277 Hawthorne St., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 (630) 469-5405.

Memorials may be directed to Wheaton Montessori School to further a passion for learning, to Glen Ellyn Evangelical Covenant Church to extend Christ's love and compassion to children, or to Bear Necessities to provide hope and support to children touched by cancer.
