Paul R. Haraldsen, age 72 of Wheaton, went to be with his Lord,
September 22, 2008 at his home. He was born April 30, 1936 in Chicago, Il to Arnold and Alice (Andersen) Haraldsen.

He served in the US Navy from 1955-1957 on the USS Randolph aircraft carrier. He married Lois Johnson on October 19, 1957. He was employed with NI Gas for 19 years then left to work at AWANA in Rolling Meadows. He was a business manager for Wheaton Evangelical Free Church and for Salt Lake City Free Church in Utah. He is long time member of Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lois (Johnson), and their 5 children; Susan (Chuck) Hundt, Mark (Liz) Haraldsen, Jill (Jim) Solava, Todd Haraldsen, Kari Haraldsen, 9 grandchildren; Courtney (Josh) Goodendorf, Brandon (Rachel) Hundt, Kyle (Jenny) Hundt, Kristina Hundt, Cara, Amy and Troy Solava, Angela and Maggie Prusa, and 1 great grand daughter Skyler Goodendorf. His brother Jim (Ele) Haraldsen and his sister Grace (Dan) Smith; 3 nephews and 3 nieces.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, from 4-8 P.M. at the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Road, in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27, at 11:00 A.M. Interment is private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
