Adanya Pascaline Mbadu, age 3, a resident of Glen Ellyn, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was born September 17, 2010 in Naperville, IL.
Nya was a beautiful, fun little girl who attended preschool at Peace Community Learning Center in Lombard. She loved puzzles, reading, dinosaurs, cooking, biking, swinging, artwork, and "cuddle time". She wanted to be a famous singer or a doctor when she grew up. She loved her little brother and kept her family entertained with her funny stories and dancing.
She is survived by her parents, Bavin and Danielle Mbadu of Glen Ellyn, her brother, Jaden, maternal grandparents Tom and Lorie Tetzler of Berkeley, IL, paternal grandfather Jacques Mbadu Nsitu of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. She is also survived by her Aunt "Nene" and Uncle "Lala" Garza of Manhattan, IL and her Aunt "Mina" Mbadu of Chicago. She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Pascaline Tsimba Nzita.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 1 to 7 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 21W500 Butterfield Rd., Lombard, IL. Interment will be held privately at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield, Illinois.
