Ella Nita Boyd's Obituary
Ella Nita Boyd, age 91, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Monday, October 21, 2013, at home. She was born April 12, 1922 in Sedalia, MO.
Ella Nita was raised on the family farm in Farlington, KS. She loved gardening and needle point, sewing, crocheting and enjoyed the beauty of flower gardens.
She is survived by four children, Gordon (Claudie) Boyd of Kouts, IN, Jim (Karen) Boyd of Warrenville, IL, Wendy (Harry) Rossett of Wheaton, IL, and Roger (Lynda) Boyd of Iuka, IL; four grandchildren, Tim (Stella), Carin (Bennett), Erica (Kyle) and Brooke (Dan); and five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Lindsay, Seth, Andie and Emilie.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert; and five siblings, Irene, Kathleen, Lorena, Ferdinand, Orville and Leonard Mein.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of a memorial service to be held at 1:30 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will be private at Wheaton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to CNS/Home Health and Hospice, 690 E. North Ave, Carol Stream, IL 60188.
