Barbara Jean Pass, age 89, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born May 4, 1924 in Britton, MI.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Pass; loving mother of Nancy Pass of Wheaton, IL and James Pass of Chicago, IL; very proud grandmother of Jamieson Pass, Meredith Pass and the late Matthew Donald Pass, who died at the age of 9 1/2 years old; and great-grandmother of one.

She enjoyed horseback riding, playing golf, being in her garden and mowing her lawn. She travelled all over the world, enjoyed cooking and entertaining.

Barbara was a Kindergarten teacher in Britton, MI. She meet her husband in Chicago and got married August 5, 1950 in Three Rivers, Mi. They then moved to Melrose Park, IL. She enjoyed working part-time for many years at SteinMart in Wheaton. She was a member of the Illinois Chapter of the PEO and also the Bridge club which she enjoyed very much.

She lived a beautiful long life of 89 years and now is resting in peace with all the Angels surrounding her. God bless her!

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew United Church of Christ, 1420 S. Gables, Blvd, Wheaton, IL 60189. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
