Steven J. Nisbett, age 57, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at home after a seven month battle with glioblastoma. He was born November 28, 1955 in Chicago, IL to William and Elaine Nisbett.
Steve lived most of his life in Wheaton and was a member of Wheaton Bible Church. He was a talented machinist and enjoyed working on many different projects in his workshop. Steve was an excellent craftsman and took pride in his work.
He is survived by his wife, Marian, nee Lathan; children, Jillian, Allison, Katelyn, and Daniel; siblings, Michael, Janet, Robert (Evelyn), Susanne (Eric) Raynard, Andrea (Robert) VanderMolen, and Corinne (David) Denoon; stepmother, Joanne Nisbett; and step-sisters, Jan Roman and Jill Roman Falls (George Johnson). He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7th, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave. in West Chicago, IL. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
