William C. Carlson's Obituary
William Charles "Bill" Carlson, age 62, resident of Wheaton, IL, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was born in Wheaton, IL on August 25th, 1950 to Wesley and Eleanor Carlson.
Bill was a very thoughtful man, and very sincere. He loved the company of his friends and family and cherished the opportunity to be with them. Bill was a gifted black and white landscape photographer. He focused his photography on local Wheaton landmarks and parks. He also enjoyed bike riding and following Chicago sports.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary (Brandon) Campo; his granddaughter, Cora Campo; his siblings, E. Patricia (Vern) Geurkink of Naperville, IL, J. Robert (April) Carlson of West Chicago, IL, David (Linda) Carlson of Essex, MA, Betty Carlson of Centreville, OH, and Susan (Geoffrey) Cronk of Bailey's Harbor, WI; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of a memorial service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Wheaton Christian Reformed Church, 711 E. Harrison Avenue, Wheaton IL 60187.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Camp Forest Springs, N8890 Forest Lane, Westboro WI 54490.
