Natalie Naas, age 79, a resident of Willowbrook for 32 years, died Tuesday, October 16 at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1933 in Oak Park to Nathaniel John and Lottie Belle Holden.
Natalie grew up in Bellwood and graduated from Proviso High School. She married William Naas on June 6, 1952. She had been an active member of Westchester Bible Church and was passionate about studying the word of God. She held a women's Bible study in her home for the last 30 years. Since 1989 she was an active member of Marion Hills Bible Church where she worked in Vacation Bible School every year. After her children were grown, she worked at Loaves and Fishes Christian Bookstore in Hinsdale. For many years Natalie volunteered with St. Thomas Hospice.
She loved to read and cook. She enjoyed expressing hospitality and entertaining friends in her home.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William, four children, Bill (Laura) Naas of Ferryville, WI, Narci (Glenn) Herr of HongKong, Sally (Scott) Sharik of Beaver Falls, PA, and Scott (Beth) Naas of Green Forest, AR, and 15 grandchildren, Josh, Janelle, Jonathan, Joel, Sara, Stephen, Staci, Samuel, Simeon, Cory, Cameron, Cassie, Cody, Daniel and Haanah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Marion Hills Bible Church, 142 Plainfield Rd., Darien, IL 60561.
Interment will be held privately at Clarendon Hill Cemetery in Darien, Illinois.
