Yole Nardini, age 94, a resident of Delnor Glen Senior Living in St. Charles, IL and formerly of Bloomingdale, IL and Elmwood Park, IL, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at home. She was born July 15, 1920 in St. Paul, MN.
Yole worked for the U.S. Federal Government for many years. She was an executive assistant to the director of the VA Hospital in Chicago. After retirement, she and her husband Paul enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S.A. and Europe. They loved to winter in Arizona and also to visit the family summer home in Twin Lakes, WI.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Robert) Van Ham of Aurora, IL; two grandchildren, Deanna (Steve) Modaff of Geneva, IL, and Michael (Colleen) Van Ham of Arlington Heights, IL; four great-grandchildren, Kady and Kyler Modaff, and Alana and Callen Van Ham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul; and her brother, Enzo Turicchi.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until the start of a funeral service to be held at 2:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
