William Wooton Jr., age 68, a resident of Wheaton, for 17 years, died suddenly on Thursday, August 17, 2017. He was born December 16, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Anna Wooton.

Bill grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from high school in Ferndale, Michigan and went on to graduate from Michigan State. He married his high school sweetheart, Suzanne Chambers on September 5, 1970. After college, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and served as a navigator.

He had a long career in the truck parts industry, and was currently Vice-president of Sales and Marketing for American Chrome in Bolingbrook. Previously he worked for Belmor and Durakon.

Bill enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and worldwide travel. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and watching sports.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne, one son, Nicholas (Jennifer) Wooton of Dallas, TX, one brother Robbie Wooton and his mother, Anna Wooton. He was preceded in death by his father and son, William Donald Wooton III.

Services will be held privately.
