William Lee Perdew, age 59, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Monday May 28, 2012 at home after a long battle with cancer.
William had retired from Bridgestone Firestone Americas as their Chief Operating Officer and VP of Strategic Planning in 2011. He had worked for Firestone for 30 years upon his retirement. He continued to do consulting work for the Automotive Industry until his death.
His wife Patricia Perdew of Wheaton, IL; his children, Ingrid Jacobs of Fayetteville, AR, Alexandra Perdew of Los Angeles, CA; his brother Steve Perdew of Houston, TX; and many nieces and nephews survive him.
A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 5pm until 8pm at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Gateway PGA Program or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
