William "Bill" D. McCulla, age 93, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died January 28, 2014, at Johnson Medical Center at Windsor Park in Carol Stream, Illinois. He was born June 27, 1920 in Oak Park to David and Margaret McCulla.

Bill worked as an engineer at Commonwealth Edison in Maywood from 1947 until 1985 and enjoyed bowling with the company league. He attended the Wheaton Bible Church since 1973. He was a devoted fan to the Chicago sports teams and love to watch the Bears and Cubs.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth, his sister, Marion Fick, nephews, Glen O. Fick and Bryn A. Fick and his niece, Judith A. Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harry L. McCulla.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, from 10 to 11 am at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Wheaton Cemetery.
