William T. Lothers' Obituary
Dr. William T. Lothers, age 86, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born January 8, 1928 in Wichita, KS.
William was a graduate of Oklahoma State University, Faith Theological Seminary, University of Oklahoma, and Michigan State University. He taught at Greenville College, Dordt College and Wheaton College. In retirement he had a devotional radio broadcast over WETN Wheaton College Radio. He was a volunteer at the Repeat Boutique, and was a member of the Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Charlotte; two children, Ted (Beth) Lothers of Nashville, TN, and Mary-Claire Lothers of Wheaton, IL; two grandchildren, Jacob Lothers, and Corinne Lothers; his sister Bobbye (Sam) Elliott of Olathe, KS; his brother, Dr. John (Ruth) Lothers of South Carolina; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Lothers.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church , 1401 S. Naperville Road, Wheaton, IL 60189. Interment will be private.
