William R Clark 82, a resident of Redington Beach and West Chicago, IL went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Baycare Alliant Hospital in Dunedin, FL. He was born in Canton, IL to parents Dr. A.H. and Marion (nee Burmaster) Clark on August 4, 1932.

He was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, and received his Masters in Chemistry from Bradley University. After serving in the US Army, he was employed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He became District Director in Illinois for the FDA and retired as the Mid West Regional Director.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (nee Gray) Clark; daughters Christine Zimmerman and Karen Van Dyke; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A private family burial will immediately follow at Wheaton Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Wheaton Bible Church , 27w500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185.
