Obituary
William Van Berkel, age 92, a resident of Wheaton, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the Central Du Page Hospital in Winfield. He was born in the Netherlands on November 9, 1912.
Mr. Van Berkel worked for School District 200 for many years as a custodian at Wheaton North and Wheaton Central High Schools. He was an active volunter for the Northwest Food Pantry and at Du Page Convalescent Center. He was a member of the Wheaton Christian Reformed Church.
He is survived by his wife, Susanna and two brothers.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 11:00 at the Wheaton Christian Reformed Church, 711 E. Harrison St. in Wheaton. Friends may visit from 10:00 until the time of service. Interment will be held at Wheaton Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to The Back To God Hour, 6555 W. College Dr., Palos Heights, IL or Reformed Bible College, 3333 E. Beltline NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
