Willard H. Ong's Obituary
Willard H. Ong, age 76, a longtime resident of Winfield, died Wednesday, March 12, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. He was born March 5, 1932 in Spring Valley, Illinois.
Willard was raised in Tonica, IL. After serving in Korea in the Army he came to the Western Suburbs of Chicago where he worked as an accountant. He loved to vacation in Door County where he had a second home. He was a faithful member of the Winfield United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet; his two children, David (Beverly) Ong of Aurora, Dee (Ron) Netzel of Wheaton; two granddaughters, Naomi Ong, and Sophie Allegra Joy Netzel.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 1:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment is private at Fairview Cemetery in Tonica, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Winfield United Methodist Church, PO Box 359, Winfield, IL 60190; and voting Republican would be greatly appreciated.
