Warren Ragnar "Skip" Olson, age 74, a resident of Lombard, IL, met his Savior on Monday, July 6, 2020, at Johnson Health Care Center in Carol Stream, Illinois. He was born December 18, 1945 in Bridgeport, CT to Ragnar and Elsie Olson.

Skip grew up in Bridgeport and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated high school. He graduated from Northern IL University while living in Rockford, IL. He worked for Kraft Foods in the Chicago area for most of his career. During his retirement years, he continued to work in the food service industry, but was actively involved in several ministries.

Skip's Christian faith was central to his life and he enjoyed teaching the Bible. He was involved with many aspects of Bible Study Fellowship all across the Midwest. He was also a board member of Keep Believing Ministries, where he was involved with the China outreach.

He enjoyed following the Cubs, playing golf, drinking coffee and all things Swedish. He was full of life, full of joy, and enjoyed being with family and friends.

Skip is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Smith of Tamarac, FL, his niece, Lori Davis of Tamarac, FL and nephews, Brian (Becky) Smith of Taylors, SC and Jeff (Kim) Smith of Margate, FL.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m at College Church, Washington and Seminary St. in Wheaton, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
