Warren Louis Matson, 78, of Elgin, Illinois passed away peacefully on November 9, 2015 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin. He was the oldest son of the late Louis and Serene (Bjornestad) Matson, brother to Lois (Don Peterson) the late Bruce Matson, and loving Husband of Ruth (Kolar) Matson. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren survive him:

Vicki & Ernie Knight,Ernie Knight Jr., the late Rachael Darnell, Gina, Tommy, Colton, and Logan.
Louis & Pamela Matson, Amber, and Ross.
Sue Motley & Arnie Witt, Briana, Zachary, Spencer, and Paige.
Warren Bruce Matson & Barry Brenner, Matt, Megan.
Charles & Kimberley Matson, Jacob, Preston, Wyatt, Cole, Gilliyan.
Becky & Joe Laubenthal, Jack, Benjamin, Eva, Adam, Leah, and Owen.
Vince, Dominique, and Cousin.

He is loved by all that knew him, from family to friends, and made a huge impact on many lives. He was an electrician until his retirement in 2003 but never stopped enjoying his passion for work and cars.

The wake will be held on Tuesday, November 10th at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187 (630) 668-0027 from 3-9 PM. The funeral will be held Wednesday, November 11th at 10:30 AM at Hultgren Funeral Home.
