Obituary

Walter F. "Kelly" Kruszynski, age 83, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died Friday, November 9 at the Central Du Page Hospital. He was born on August 25, 1924 in Chicago to Marcel and Frances Kruszynski.

Kelly served in the US Army during WWII where he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW. He worked as an insurance adjuster for American States Insurance Company until he retired.

He is survived by five children, Barb (Bill) McGovern, Susan (Gary) Maier, John (Sue) Kruszynski, Mary (Dave) Hook, and Jim Kruszynski, and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Charlotte Mae Kruszynski and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A mass will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, Cole St. east of Main St. in Wheaton. Prayers begin at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton.
