Walter F. Garazin, age 90, a resident of Lombard, died Sunday, October 28, at the Lexington Healthcare Center in Lombard. He was born November 7, 1916 in Chicago.
Walt was a long time member of St. Philip Lutheran Church in Chicago, St. John Lutheran Church, Wheaton, and Peace Lutheran Church in Lombard.
He is the dear father of Rev. Kenneth W. (Barbara), loving grandfather of Scott, Krista, David and Michael; great-grandfather of Megan, Amanda, Jordan and Ali.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, his parents, and a brother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton.
Services will be held on Friday, November 2, at 1:00 P.M. at Peace Lutheran Church, 21W500 Butterfield Rd. in Lombard with Rev. Marty Hufford officiating. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
