Vivian Whitaker's Obituary
Vivian Whitaker, age 65, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Thursday, September 2, 2010, at home. She was born February 20, 1945 in Kansas City, MO.
Vivian worked for the Wheaton School District 200 as a Teacher Aide. She also worked for World Relief and taught pre-school. She was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Warrenville, IL where among other things she was a choir member and a vocal soloist. She also volunteered with Pioneer Clubs.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Howard; her two daughters, Annika (Eric) Durbin of Wheaton, IL, and Marika (Jonathan) Whitaker Bennett; six grandchildren; two brothers, Vern (Dathene) Stanley, and Keith Stanley; and her sister, Donna (John) Stanley Bechtel.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, corner of Batavia and Williams Roads in Warrenville, IL. Interment is private.
Memorials may be directed to World Relief, 7 East Baltimore Street, Baltimore MD, 21202.
