Vivian V. Metelka, age 93, a resident of Wheaton, IL, formerly of Schiller Park, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 4, 2020, at DuPage Care Center in Wheaton, Illinois. She was born November 25, 1927 in Chicago to Charles and Grace Thon.

Vivian grew up in Elmwood Park and graduated from Steinmetz High School. She worked hard her whole adult life. She loved crossword puzzles, reading, card games, her cats, Jeopardy, and animals. She enjoyed music, cooking and following Chicago Sports teams, especially the Cubs. Most of all she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Robert (Donna) Kozuchowski of Bartlett, Michael (Karen) Kozuchowski of Elmhurst, and Bonnie (Mark) Shlifka of Montgomery, and six grandchildren, Daniel, Maria, David, Andrea, Carissa and Natalie. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Kozuchowski, Kenneth Miles and Frank Metelka, as well as her parents and her sister, Mildred Johnson.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00.
