Vivian O. Edwards, age 93, was born on August 11, 1923 on a farm near Shabbona, Illinois. She was the youngest of four children of Vina and Olai Benson. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edwin C. Edwards, two children, Laurene (Mark) Prutzman of Wheaton and Robert Edwards of Florida, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Vivian spent her early years in the DeKalb area and was married in a rural Lutheran Church on December 8, 1945. She has been a resident of Wheaton since 1958. Viv and Ed are charter members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Wheaton. Vivian was a volunteer in the early years of Central DuPage Hospital. She has been active in her church for 54 years.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 802 E. Geneva Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. (630-665-1515)
