Virginia Wolf, age 94, a resident of Carol Stream and formerly of Tucson and Los Angeles, died at home on Thursday, February 25. She was born on February 13, 1916 in Basco, IL.

She married Max Wolf in August of 1940 in Los Angeles. They were very active at Church on the Way in Van Nuys, CA, where their passion was to help young couples to mature in their faith. In 2003 they moved to Tucson to be close to their son, Greg. After enjoying a long and happy marriage Max died in 2008 and Virginia moved to Carol Stream to live with her son, Doug.

She is survived by her two sons, Doug (Mary) Wolf of Carol Stream, IL and Greg (May) Wolf of Tucson, AZ, five grandchildren, Tony (Emily), Jennifer, Amy (Aaron) O'Brien, Joy and Jonathan, six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Max, and her brothers, Woody and Perry Tull.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 28, at 6:00 p.m. at Fellowship Church of Carol Stream, 130 Shawnee Dr., Carol Stream, where friends may visit with the family from 3 until 6 p.m.
