Virginia M. Kolton, age 87, a longtime resident of Carol Stream, and formerly of Chicago, died Tuesday, December 13, at Glen Oaks Hospital in Glendale Heights. She was born October 15, 1918 in Chicago.
Virginia was a member of St. Michael Church in Chicago for over 40 years. She had a great love of crocheting and made many afghans and pot holders. Her grandchildren and family were very important to her.
She is survived by her two sons, Jerry (Gloria) of Andover, MN, and Richard (Barbara) of Carol Stream; her granddaughter, Kerri of Carol Stream; and her sister, Winifred Smith of Lake Park, FL.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen; her grandson, Steven; her parents, George and Rose Rogalski; her brothers, Edmund Rogalski, Leonard Rogers, and Richard Rogalski; and her sister, Stella Mitchell.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, from 3-9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Prayers will be said at 9:15 A.M., Saturday, at Hultgren Funeral Home before a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1415 Lies Road, in Carol Stream. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
