Virginia Lee Klean, age 78, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023.  She was born June 30, 1945 in Oak Park, Illinois.

Ginny was born in Oak Park, IL.  She was born with RH Factor where her mother's blood type was not compatible.  A transfusion was done but she had already suffered brain damage.  After being told to institutionalize Ginny, her parents said no...  Her father worked with her muscles and got her walking by age 5.  She was hard of hearing and suffered seizures later in life.  Ginny had a very loving home life.  She was the smartest person and knew every important date in her life. Ginny had her favorite singer/friend in the world, Jimmie Rodgers and their friendship was very special to her for over 50 years. One special person to Ginny was Shannon.  Shannon was her second MOM after her mother had passed away.  She always told Shannon, "You look like my mother."  Shannon cared and loved Ginny her entire adult life along with Janet and her niece Kathy. Ginny loved all her visits from all of the family members.  It was extra special for Ginny to see Daniele and Erin during her final days and be with Kathy at the end.  Ginny had undying courage, love and strength and only God knows her better than anyone.

She is the loving daughter of the late Oliver Klean and the late Marian Klean.  She is survived by her siblings, Janet Leslie (late James Leslie), Gary (Judy) Klean, Shannon Leslie (niece, Kathy Leslie (niece), Lori (Blahut) Leslie (niece), Debi (Jason) Schmidt (niece), Jeff (Linda) Klean (nephew), late Tim Klean (nephew), Daniele (Jeff) Wean (great niece), Erin (Chuck) Syperski (great niece), Lucy Blahut (great, great niece), Robert (Shannon) Blahut (great, great nephew), Lily Wean (great, great niece), Vivian Wean (great, great niece), Henry and Audrey Syperski, (great, great nephew and niece),

Services will be held privately at a later date with a family celebration full of memories.
