Virginia Midura Descher, age 85, a resident of Clearwater, Florida and formerly of Pleasant Hill and Woodridge, died Monday, April 27, 2009 in Clearwater. She was born on January 31, 1924 to John and Anna Midura.

Virginia was a very caring and devoted mother. She loved her family and family gatherings and always remembered them with birthday cards. She loved to travel and enjoyed warm weather and the ocean. She had a tender heart towards her family and she loved pets.

She is survived by her 2 brothers, Walter (Alexa) Midura of Minneapolis, MN and Chester (Sally) Midura of Wheaton and one sister, Lorraine Taylor of Northbrook and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, her daughter, Marilyn Descher, her sister, Wanda McLenahan, and brother, Edward Midura.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 1, at 12:00 noon at Elm Lawn Cemetery, 401 E. Lake St., Elmhurst, IL.
