Obituary
Vicki Jean Heldstab, age 64, a lifelong resident of Wheaton, died Tuesday, May 8, at home. She was born October 28, 1942 in St. Charles, IL.
Vicki worked as a Kindergarten teacher for Wheaton School District #200 for over 25 years. She was a member of the PTA, the St. Mark Catholic Church CCW in Wheaton. She loved to travel and also enjoyed camping, and knitting.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Leland C. "Lee" Heldstab; her two sons, Matthew (Michelle) of Hudson, WI, and Jacob (Emily) of Pennington, MN; two grandchildren, Merrick and Maeve; two nieces, Dawn and DeDe; and three nephews, Scott, Rob, and Chris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dorothy Ramey; and her brother, Frank Ramey, Jr.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 13, from 5-7 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 14, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 300 E. Cole, in Wheaton. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd., Ste. #100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
