Victor Russell Graham, ran into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 12, 2020, after suffering a devastating neck injury as he arrived at the weekly three-generational family Bible study. He was born at home on the farm in Fayetteville, Arkansas on January 28, 1937. He was the faithful husband to his loving wife, Joyce Romelle (Williams), whom he married in 1957. Shortly after, they moved to Wheaton, Illinois where they established roots and raised their four children: Rebecca, Russell (Berni), Daniel (Robin), and Kent (Courtney). He was the loving and doting Grandfather to 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Jeanne and Betty Ruth, and countless nieces and nephews.

Vic had a passion for learning. You could always find him with a book in hand, particularly a book written by C.S. Lewis. He was devoted to showing others the way of Jesus, and his time spent as a leader with Youth for Christ and Dixon Valley Camp were complete joys for him. He was dedicated and devoted to each individual person in his family and his intentional one-on-one time spent with them going out to breakfast, walking through the Arboretum, and watching sports are some of their most treasured memories.

He was the unashamed biggest fan of his children and grandchildren. If they were involved in a game or activity, they knew that Grandfather was there cheering them on, and waiting to give them constructive feedback afterwards.

Golfing with his friends was another staple in Vic's life. Having played golf with the same foursome for over 20 years, they went through the ups and downs of life together, and bonded over the game while doing it.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Earl, and his parents, Earl and Lois.

To be his family has been the greatest blessing. He has modeled a legacy of love and dedication to the Lord, and we will miss him so.
