Obituary
Vera J. Launspach, age 99, a resident of Villa Park, and formerly of Glendale, CA, died Sunday, June 10, at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. She was born December 4, 1907 in Boone County, IA.
Vera was an executive secretary for a number of companies. She was also a member of Gary Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine (John) Behrend of Glendale Heights; four grandchildren, Steven (Irina) Behrend, Cheryl (Ray) Ward, Mark Behrend, Jonna Danis; and six great-grandchildren, James, Ryan, Kristi, Travis, Trevor, and Chase.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her sister, Ruth; and her brother, Merley.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 A.M at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West, in Oakbrook Terrace.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the DuPage Convalescent Center, 400 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187.
