Trudy Reynolds, age 84, a resident of Bartlett and formerly of Carol Stream, died on Monday, December 21, at St. Alexis Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. She was born on February 16, 1925 in Elkhart, Indiana to Howard and Ruth Kratzer.

On August 5, 1945 she married Ernest Reynolds in Elkhart, Indiana, while he was in the US Army. They moved to the Chicago area in 1968. She worked Sperry-Vickers in Bensenville as a secretary to the regional sales manager and she retired in 1988.

Trudy served as the pianist for the Addison Bible Church and in recent years has been a member of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.

Trudy is survived by her husband, Ernest M. Reynolds, two children, Michael B. (Sherri) Reynolds of Markle, Indiana, Carolee R. (Bill) Jenkins of Carol Stream,
four grandchildren, Chad Reynolds, Sherylee (Rick) Dodge, Robin (Dave) Schwarz and Katie (Brad) Garling, five great-grandchildren, and one brother, Howard Kratzer Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral services will be held at Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton on Monday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Gordon Bacon officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 until the service at 11:00. Interment will be held at Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
