Tracey Catherine Rees, age 60, a resident of Weaton, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, after a valiant battle from a traumatic spinal injury four months earlier. She was born on November 23, 1962, in Luton, England. She grew up in Novi and Farmington Hills Michigan.

Tracey graduated from North Farmington High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit Michigan. She was an amazingly talented artist. who utilized her creative mind in graphic design for marketing for both Bozell and  Ambercrombie and Kent. Her work took her to Kenya where she captured wildlife in their natural surroundings. She had an amazing eye to capture images.

She most recently lived in the Wheaton/Naperville area since 2004. That is where she became a member of Grace Church of DuPage in 2012.

She had a passion for dogs, and photography, nature, and storm chasing. She volunteered for the Humane Society. If Tracey was outdoors, with her dog and her camera, she was in her element. Tracey viewed the world through a creative eye full of vibrant colors. Her artistry demonstrated that to be true. She was also an amazing pianist who wrote her own music and performed at Cobo Hall as a child.

Her greatest joy was brought to her by her twin sons. Her sons have grown to be incredible men who are adored and respected by all in our family. She will be truly missed by those who loved and knew her.

Tracey was preceded in death by her father, David E Rees. She is survived by her sons, Trevor Williams of Indiana and Damien Williams of North Dakota, her mother, Madeline Rees, her sister, Della A Rees, and her former husband, Richard Williams.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Grace Church of DuPage, where a memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. The service will be livestreamed beginning at 11:30 a.m. CST through this link: Memorial Service for Tracey Ree s.
