Tom Clinkenbeard, age 76, a resident of Winfield, IL, died Monday, May 21, 2018, at home. He was born February 24, 1942 in Unionville, MO.

Tom was a farmer in his early days and then became a maintenance engineer within Wheaton School District 200. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and also the Sons of the Confederacy. He was an avid rock and coin collector and would regularly tumble his rocks to a beautiful shine. He enjoyed archaeology and especially liked finding arrowheads and fossils. He liked to hunt and fish. Tom loved his dogs.

He was survived by his late wife, Nancy Moore Clinkenbeard; his grandson, Joshua (Jazmin) Clinkenbeard of Winfield, IL; his sons, Thomas Hart Clinkenbeard of Albuquerque, NM, Keith (Beni) Clinkenbeard of Bennett, IA, and the late Karl Clinkenbeard of Winfield, IL; his two sisters, Janice Sue (Jim) Johnson, and Alona (Robert) Peters of Pittsfield, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Clinkenbeard; and his sisters, Rosie Winkleman and Diane Snead.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Presbyterian Church , 29W260 Batavia Road, in Warrenville, IL. Interment will be private at Memory Gardens in Arlington Heights, IL.
