Titus Rashad Davis, 27, of Wheaton, IL, departed this life on November 11, 2020, after a courageous battle with Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC.)  He was born in Chicago, IL, on January 3, 1993, to parents Michelle Davis and  Victor Timson, where he and his siblings, John, Latoya, Kadeem, Tomais, Corey and Taja were raised by his parents and grandparents, Katie M. Davis ("Gran") and Roosevelt Davis. He was baptized as a youth at Faith Temple C.O.G.I C. in  Chicago, IL and on Aug. 27, 2020 at Wheaton Bible Church.

After his family moved to Wheaton, IL in 1998, Titus met Joe and Triva Hall who embraced him as their son.  Their children, Alexandra,  Samantha,  Joe Jr., and Matthew embraced Titus as their brother.

Titus starred in the Wheaton Park district football league. Titus also starred in Track and Football at Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Wheaton, IL.

In 2011 he accepted a football scholarship to Central Michigan University where he set school and national  receiving records. There he met and married Taylor M. Hadley with whom he had sons Roosevelt and Titus Jr.

Titus was a member on four NFL teams between 2015 and 2017, including the Chicago Bears. Titus always carried a football with him and continued to workout in preparation to resume a football career before falling ill to RMC this past April.

Titus is survived by his loving families, children, Aunt Linda Davis, Uncles Roosevelt Davis, Rickey Davis, Robert Walker, a sister-in-law and a bevy of cousins, nieces, nephews, former teammates, friends and well-wishers.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187.  Due to the pandemic, we ask that everyone RSVP with the links below.  Please dress warm as only a limited number will be allowed in the chapel at a time and there may be a waiting line outdoors.  Please social distance while waiting, wear a mask and refrain from closely approaching the family.
