Obituary

Tia Tideman, age 44, went home to be with our Lord on, Friday, January 20, 2023. Tia is now pain free and in heavenly peace. Her potassium had dropped severely causing her heart to stop beating depriving her brain of oxygen for too long, Doctors were able to restart her heart but unfortunately it was too late.

Tia was born July 10, 1978 in Elmhurst, Illinois. She attended Christian Liberty Academy, Wheaton Christian Academy, Timothy Christian School (where she was able to participate in a school trip in Israel) and graduated from Willowbrook High School in 1996. Tia's cheerleading squad won the national cheerleading competitions in Florida for Lombard Falcons football team. Tia's first job after high school was at KinderCare in Lombard, then she was able to follow her dreams and travel when she started at Apple Vacations and was able to visit Mexico, Jamaica, Punta Cana and Hawaii multiple times. Then she used her customer service experience to go to work at Nextel as an Escalated Customer Service Specialist. Tia spent the latter part of her life struggling with intensifying mental illness. We are devastated at her passing, especially at a point where she had just moved into her new condo and new medicine was helping reduce here physical pain. We are comforted that she is completely and permanently pain free, anxiety free and safely held in the loving arms of our heavenly Father. Rev. 21: Verse 4: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever."

Tia is survived by her father Jeff Tideman; her aunt Sharee (David Pruitt) Sheptick, uncle Jerry (Nancy) Sheptick, uncle John (Dana) Tideman, aunt Joy (Sam) Tideman-Silverman, uncle Nic (Estill) Tideman-Putney, aunt Justine (Matt) Tideman Bell, aunt Marijke van Nieuwstadt, aunt Amanda (Frank) Riccetti, aunt Ella Isner; her cousins: Dawn (Mike) Sharp, Nicci Sheptick, Zev Silverman, Renee Silverman, Eric Alexander, Jenny Aurthur, Roisin Isner, Matthew Leahy, Andrew (Karissa) Leahy, Robert Riccetti, Jenny Riccetti, Finn Tideman Ball, Fiona Tideman Ball and Caitlin Singh Gamble; and second cousins: Katelynn Sheptick, Travis Sheptick, Alexandria Sharp, Logan Sharp & Rosalie Sheptick.

She was preceded in death by her mother Deborah Diane Tideman; her maternal grandparents Alex & Ella Sheptick; her paternal grandparents Robert Tideman & Grace Campbell; and her aunt Sandy Beck.
