Thomas L. Thomas Jr., age 54, a resident of The Woodlands, TX and formerly of Wheaton, IL died suddenly Saturday, May 10 at the Central Du Page Hospital. He was born in Geneva, IL on April 8, 1954 to Marie and Thomas L. Thomas.

Tom was a graduate of Wheaton Central High School, the University of IL, and received an MBA from the University of Michigan. He worked for Natural Gas Pipeline, Dynegy, and for Du Page County Treasurer's Office. He was an Eagle Scout and very active in local scouting. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the University of IL Media Group. While at the University of IL he was a radio host on WPGU. He enjoyed Lionel Trains, music, cooking and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Lauri, two daughters, Heather (Chip) Pate and Shannon (Landon) Merritt, his father Thomas L. Thomas Sr. and his cat Sam.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marie Thomas.

Visitation will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton on Tuesday, May 13, from 3:00-9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthew United Church of Christ, 1420 S. Gables, Wheaton, Illinois 60187. Interment will be held at Wheaton Cemetery.
