Obituary

Thomas Patrick Sullivan, age 50, a resident of Wood Dale, formerly of Wheaton, died suddenly Thursday, June 4, 2009. He was born on March 11, 1959 in Aurora.

Tom worked for Honda House Motorcycles for 19 years and in the last three years has owned and operated his own repair business. He was one of Honda's Premier Certified Honda Professionals and was a member of the American Motorcycle Association. He was also a Master Artist in Pottery and received the Scholastic Art Award many times and the Hallmark Award. He was an avid swimmer who swam on the Wheaton Swim Team and B.R. Ryall YMCA Swim Team. He swam in the National Meet every year since he was 7 years old. He loved the outdoors, camping and was king of the grill.

He is survived by his father, Richard F. (Patricia) Sullivan of Wheaton, four siblings, Robert (Pamela) Sullivan of MI, James (Gayle) Sullivan of Dixon, Juanita "Stormy" Fett-Smith of TX, and Rick (Mary) Sullivan of St. Charles, three step-sisters, Rhonda Kliest, Robin Rinker and Rebecca Korbecki, nephews, Neil and T.J. Fett, Jon, James and Jason Sullivan, Rob Sullivan, nieces, Julie Davenport, Lori Jenkins, Kaitlyn and Lyndsay Sullivan and Kelly Conser and their families.

He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda and his sister Loretta Conser.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. with a service following at 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187.
