Thomas Charles Prunty, 76 of Wheaton, IL died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023.  He was born February 21st, 1947 in Peoria, IL to Bernice (Clark) and Thomas Lindsey Prunty.

Tom married the love of his life Joann (Derry) on June 7th, 1975.  He raised his three children, Brian (Terri), Brad (Anne), and Breanne Holdorf (Andrew), in Macomb, IL. He retired from the Post Office after 30 years of service and moved to Wheaton, IL in 2007, because he was too far from his grandkids.

Tom was a Vietnam Veteran who loved to fish, build, play music, and spend time with his 9 grandchildren: Carson, Mason, Tyson, Ella, Jackson, Addie, Everly, Luke, and Emmie. They will forever remember him as the most loving and involved Grandpa.

Over the years, Tom was a member of Farmington Christian Church in Farmington, IL, Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb, IL and most recently, One Line Church in Wheaton, IL.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8th at One Line Church, 1300 S. President St., Wheaton, IL at 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm, and a graveside service will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.  The celebration will be live streamed at onelinechurch.live
